The Fist is the symbol of Skyline Football.
As a team of individuals we would be weak but together we are strong. There are five parts that
make up the Fist. Success will come from believing in the Fist. First, TRUST, the players and coaches will
trust each other. Second, COMMITMENT, players and coaches will be dedicated to our vision. Next, COACHABLE, we
must all learn to process and apply positive and negative feedback to be successful. Fourth, SACRIFICE, the name on
the front of the jersey must mean more than the name on the back. Finally, WILLINGNESS TO BE THE BEST YOU
CAN BE, this applies on and off the field.
We invite all Skyline supporters to join your team in a symbol of unity by placing your right fist
over your chest when we take the field as a team before the game and at the start of the fourth quarter.
"Play Fast and Physical" is the motto of Skyline football.
To play fast with a full-heart we must prepare mentally, physically, and emotionally. The mental part is using
a proper stance, knowing your alignment, recognizing and interperting your keys, and excuting your responsibility.
These four elements will allow you to play football with the lights on. The physical part is a matter of commitment,
intensity, and pride. As a player you must take pride in your conditioning to be the best you can be. The emotional
part is the willingness to give everything you have for 48 minutes no matter who the opponent. When the mental, physical,
and emotional come together as a team the "Sky will be the Limit."
